Seculo Seculorum

Today was a great day. After gawd knows how many donkey years, the planets were once again aligned to make a complete F4 + Leni + Chewie + Von finally have the opportunity to have dinner again.

It didn’t matter where we were, as long as we were together. Catching up felt good.

Bitching about other people felt even better.

It was wonderful to see Snoopy and Leni’s face again. Having passed so many moons, I almost forgot how they looked liked. Though it was quite heart wrenching to see our little Snoopy hobble around, she insists the frequent physiotherapy sessions have improved her gait.

F3 wishes her all the best at her new AIC placement.

As we count down to the days of their official departure, I can’t help but feel the pang of sadness set in. First we lost Leni. Then Snoopy. Now F4 must witness the loss of Mokie too.

It seems like we’re crumbling.

I took it upon myself to collect the money for their farewell because I wanted to give them what they really wanted. It’s the least I can do for their unwavering support.

And pretty soon, the months will fly by and (hopefully) Stick Insect and I will continue F4’s legacy through our application to NYP.

You feel time pass when the landscape that surrounds you shift so drastically. I still recall fondly of F4’s outing to Chinatown, our secret code of bitch fests and outright pouring of grief.

Always there for each other. Forever & Ever. Seculo seculorum.

As we venture of onto new horizons, we know full well that every step we take brings us closer to our dreams. Whatever they may be. And no matter where we go, the bonds of friendship will inexplicably continue to bind us in more ways then we can imagine.

Forever & ever.
