Cherlosophy endorses :

Chris Daughtry’s very first self titled album – Daughtry.

1. It's Not Over
2. Used To
3. Home
4. Over You
5. Crashed
6. Feels like Tonight
7. What I Want (Ft Slash)
8. Breakdown
9. Gone
10. There And Back Again
11. All These Lives
12. What About Now

No doubt, Chris's raspy vocals shine best in the rock genre. My fave songs are 'Used To' and 'Over You', where he belts out the lyrics with such emotion. I was hooked the first time I heard it.

On the whole, I'm drawn to the rocker-cum-family man image that Chris Daughtry projects. During Idol, I was always more inclined towards Taylor Hicks for his bravery to be true to himself despite getting ridiculed for his antics. Oh how I love em underdogs.

This season, i'm rooting for Blake =) But that's another story altogether.

But truly, the songs within the album are stylishly put together for any pop rocker to enjoy.

This compilation has catapulted Chris to superstardom, a feat unrivalled by all the others in his season. Currently, it enjoys a double platinum status in the US. A mean feat given his fourth placing. Nonetheless, a good album to enjoy.
